Company Founders:

BIS Consulting was founded by two visionary and experienced professionals who have an aspiration to allowing Ethiopian organizations to become smarter. Meet some of our company founders by reading the profiles below:

Biniyam Asmare

Biniyam is a Director and has more than 12 years of experience as a university lecturer and in the professional services industry. Prior to founding BiS, Biniyam was a Consultant and a Manager at Deloitte Consulting and HST Consulting, had served as a lecturer at Bahir Dar and Mekele Universities, and consulted on a part time basis with private and public organizations. As Consultant/Manager at Deloitte and HST, Biniyam has worked with several organizations in strategy review, market study, organization design, talent management strategy, compensation design, performance management system design, job analysis and evaluation, training and development, organization diagnosis, amongst others. He has published and is currently publishing research in management science. He received a master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance concentration) from Mekele University (2011) and a BA degree from Bahir Dar University in 2005 with very great distinction & gold medalist.

Surafel Yilma

Surafel is a Director and he has 11 years of experience as a University lecturer, consultant in human capital and certified national master trainer in entrepreneurship training. Prior to founding BiS, he served as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and HST, as a lecturer at Bahir Dar University and Certified National Master Trainer for Entrepreneurship Development Center/ EDC-Ethiopia. At Deloitte and HST, Surafel has worked with several companies in people and organization assessment, talent development, performance management system training, job description, job analysis and evaluation, amongst others. He received a master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance concentration) from Addis Ababa University (2012) and a BA degree from Bahir Dar University in 2006 with distinction.essay writers
